Dancers & Dogs | Reno/Tahoe Lifestyle Photographer

If you saw one of my blog posts in April, you know that my goal for 2018 is to be more CREATIVE in my photography (along with double unders, but I digress). So, when my friend posted a video from Dancers & Dogs it definitely caught my attention! I'm a wanna be dancer (any SYTYCD fans out there?) as well as a photographer :) I commented that I LOVED the video and she responded, "I have the dancers!" And so the planning began!

Three talented dancers....done! Finding adorable furry models was easy. Finding a small doggie sized tutu was easy. The problem? I don't have a studio like in the video but luckily I have something better! I live near the amazing backdrop of Lake Tahoe. I wanted it to be an epic view so we hiked about 30 minutes uphill for this view ON THE COLDEST DAY EVER. As always, there was a beautiful sunset (thank you Tahoe). The dancers were such troopers in the 40 degree weather. Once they warm up, I hope they will cherish these images!
