Growing up in a military family, I didn't usually have any extended family nearby. So holiday meals were just another meal with the family ... plus fancy glasses. When I moved out West this year, it was nice to know that I would have immediate family nearby. What I didn't consider was all my cousins that were near me!
I started the day out driving down to Sacramento to photograph two health centers that my cousin, Darrell, managed. He wanted updated images for their website so I captured everything physical therapy to head shots of the nurses. But my favorite was when the patients enjoyed their coffee break. Which made me wonder, will our generation have a "non-fat, vanilla latte, extra shot with whipped cream coffee break"?
Then we headed back to my cousin's house where his two girls were ready for the photo session.....in fairy wings. As you can see, they are super cute and such fun little fairies!
I have a large family on my Dad's side....check out my cousin Sara's High School Senior Session!
